Introduction
The Generosity Foundation promotes life-changing donations, generous activity within the community. Unfortunately, their website was not beautiful enough to keep visitors on the site and inspire them into donating.
Problem
The website did not have the look and feel to generate trust that would result in online donations — which were critical for financing everything. Visitors had trouble finding their way around the site, with ambiguous calls-to-action and a muddled donation process. The old design did not demonstrate the values or urgency in their process, leading to low engagement and fewer chances connecting with potential donors. The website also wasn't optimized for mobile, which further dampened efforts in a mobile world.
Solution
The Generosity Foundation approached PRIME Digital Solutions to redesign their website in such a way as it should reflect the new mission and goal of the foundation. We displayed the information on a friendlier interface which made it easier and more intuitive to navigate. Carefully placed clear calls to action led the visitor around making a donation which, in turn, was done efficiently with as few points of resistance and friction as possible. Next, we redesigned the website to be fun and visually modern at the same time portraying their foundation values. We then made the website available to a larger user base by making it mobile-friendly; accessible, efficient and resourceful on all platforms.
Result
The Generosity Foundation was able to enhance the appearance of their website and encourage donations much more successfully in a streamlined new manner, greatly enhancing its connection with people. The user friendly layout and clear design led to the foundation seeing an increase in both traffic, donation conversions. Supporters were even more likely to visit their website and join them in making change wherever they are now that the website is mobile-friendly.
